Sometimes, life feels boring, routine and usual.

So, I went to a canvas workshop and this is where my heart found its way out. Human emotions come in the form of tears but this time, mine came through bright colours.

Maybe colours have a way of saying the things we cannot put into words. Maybe, sometimes, bright colours can gently overshadow the unsaid things we carry within.

Should we buy books even if we can’t read it immediately..?

Let’s assume you are at book store and saw a book you have heard a lot about. But you already have some books in your way to cross before coming to the recent one. Should you buy or just wait till you wrap up earlier in stack.?

John waters in Role models said “Nothing is more impotent than an unread library”.

But Austin Kleon in “Steal like an Artist” mention that Nothing is more important than an unread library. (back story: I’m scanning through the book and this quote hit me and thought of writing this.)

So, it basically depends upon an individual as they have to choose what suits them. Sometimes we can get bored of a book and need some fresh start so can put our hand on the next book, if there is an option.

For me, I love to be surrounded by books. And there is phase in life where I want to switch between books or simultaneously read two books one before sleep and one during travelling.

Disclaimer: Someone asked why I don't write much on the site anymore, well.. hey, here’s your response.

I write when my heart is full of emotions

i write when i don’t feel good

i write when my mind freezes

i write when everything feels like its going in the wrong direction

i write when i have no one to express myself to

i write when something feels off

i write when i see the unspoken emotions of others

i write when my mind and brain are not in sync

i write when i have nothing to work on

i write when i feel bored

i write when i want something, but I can’t quite see what it is

i write when all things are trapped inside my mind and heart

i write when i miss myself

i write when there is scarcity

i write when i have no words to write, only feelings to think about

i write when i observe but pretend i haven’t

i write when something is missing

i write when i feel lonely

i write when words seem useless to me

i write when i feel nervous

i write when my mind doesn’t know what to write about

i write when the world makes no sense to me

i write when someone overlooks me

i write to make myself heard, seen, understood, clear my mind and feel better.

Nowadays i don’t write much because the spaces that once made me write are filled

and that’s a good thing, i think.
