Art became boring if there is less to do with pen/ pencil/ highlighter/ marker, paper/ notebook/ diary and some old stationery stuff. One simple pleasure is writing the date on an fresh page. There is some beauty in dates. After 4 cancelled online deliveries, I finally received a dater stamp. And, this is where my hands go blue.

Reading with physical book is a joy. The feel of physical pages, the smell of dated paper, the matt touch, the feeling of existence of compiled pages in front of eyes.

But..

Sometimes it makes me sleepy, makes hand cramp, increase weight in bag, and consume space.

So, tried to move my stakes to eBook reader.

Earlier, I used to be a lazy reader, could take enough time, okay- long enough to complete a single book. I used to give excuses to not read despite having enough time to survive a book. Eventually after struggling with everything odd, being able to reach the finish line of a book. But for starting an another marathon of reading(new book), I got stuck again in my loop.

Then one day, I got my hands on magical dose ie. eBook Reader, which provides me motivation and strength to move forward and finish the book fast. Here, I can’t see with my eyes and feel in my hand, the enormous stack of pages (I can see the page count at bottom but don’t feel the heaviness in hands – you know what I mean). The unknown factor somehow changes everything.

I have been using ebook for a while now, and it has been an amazing experience. At first, I thought it is not for me but as I sustain using it, it feels light to both heart and mind.

I’ll not read the book which I don’t like.

BUT ….

I’ll re-read the book which I like.

I’ll re-read the book which I like.

I’ll re-read the book which I like.

I’ll read it.

I’ll gonna definitely read it.

I’ll read it, no matter how many times.

No, you can’t stop me from reading the same book which I like.

I’m gonna re-read it.

I’ll re-read the book which I like.

I’ll re-read the book which I like.

I’ll re-read the book which I like.

I’m gonna read the book which I like.

I’ll read it till my heart wants to read.

First things first, please go and just watch a short film titled “Full Time” by Omeleto.

Highly recommended. You can find it on YouTube.

If you are very much involved in your beautiful world, not able to spare time for motion message then can glance below to know the reason. Here it is, it’s just below 👇

This is a poignant and reflective narrative about how life after graduation can sometimes feel like falling into a routine, almost like a trap. The metaphor of the “square” representing the cubicle is powerful—it’s symbolic of how many people can feel confined in their jobs, with the walls closing in on them as they get promoted and earn more money. But despite the larger square, the sense of fulfillment and freedom seems to shrink.

The story illustrates how a person, after graduation, gets caught in the rat race and lacks the courage to break free until retirement. By the time retirement comes, they have no energy left to pursue the things that bring them true happiness.

There were various metaphors shown in the short film-

  1. The size of a square increases along the pay check sometimes.
  2. Seeing multiple things happening in life but can’t participate in them.
  3. Exchanging time for a hobby.

The silence needs to be heard.

Logs of emotions on reading:

  1. A good author can make you fall in love with reading. This year has been a journey for me to find that author.
  2. I’ve always loved carrying and reading books, but somewhere along the way, I became distracted and drifted away from them. However, the AUTHOR has brought me back to books once again in my life.
  3. Want to sleep on books, scribble in books, read while having breakfast and travelling.
  4. Take photos of pages/lines/drawing and keep them in my gallery and never return to them.
  5. Read the posters, signs, logos, stickers, tattoos and every possible readable thing.
  6. Desire to read the same book again and again.
  7. Dog ear >>> Bookmark (time, effort and money saving hack).
  8. Switch between books because I don’t feel like reading the one that I’m currently holding.
  9. LIST down the books which I’ve read throughout the year and update them in my site (so that I don’t get lost in my way to reading).
