One summer evening, I went to my terrace to observe the blue sky with beautiful clouds. A baby mango covered in dark green leaves just saw me like it was looking for me, because I have seen her when she was just a flower. A corner of my eye just catches the view of baby mango. Our eyes just met like a river meets an ocean.

My heart ask her, is everything going good?

Mango replied, it just feels better. I am growing and want to become an adult just like another mango on adjacent tree.

Then suddenly, a noise arrives from the sky with a thunderous roar; the sound reaches the ground before the lightning (basic science principle). A few droplets fall gently onto my hand, and soon, many more descend from the sky, touching the earth and finally reaching that aspiring mango.

I catch myself thinking at a thought, “We all want to be adults, until we are”.
